Monday 20th & Tuesday 21st September 2021: Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University
Regulatory Policy Institute events are back!
For two days in September, a little more socially distanced than normal, we will gather to ‘rethink’ how regulatory policies might operate in the new context, characterised by radical uncertainties, which has emerged in consequence of factors such as climate change, Brexit, digitisation, and the aftermath of Covid.
We will ask ourselves: what do we need to do to rethink regulation?
We have a group of distinguished speakers drawn from regulatory authorities, regulated companies, and academia. We will hear from senior policy makers at Ofwat, Ofcom, and the Competition & Markets Authority. And we are delighted that Ed Humpherson – head of the Office for Statistics Regulation – will be delivering the Zeeman lecture on the use of statistics in public policy making.
We do hope you can join us for what is regarded by many as the most thought-provoking and illuminating event in the regulatory calendar.
