The Regulatory Policy Institute can announce that registrations are now open for our Annual Competition and Regulation Conference 2025.
With the theme “Regulation and Productivity Growth“, the Conference will consist of a range of panels discussing, amongst other topics, The Future of Energy, The Critical Role of Infrastructure in Driving Productivity Growth, Regulation and Economic Growth, and Regulatory Lessons for the Future.
We are assembling a distinguished lineup of speakers, including:

Our Zeeman Lecture will be given by Andrew Sentance CBE, former member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Council (MPC), Chief Economist at British Airways and Director of Economic Affairs at the CBI. An inflation hawk, Andrew’s book “Rediscovering Growth: After the Crisis” is a thorough analysis of the “new normal” of disappointing growth figures in western economies post the 2008 financial crisis, and how to escape this phase of sluggish economic growth.
The Conference will take place on the
15th-16th of
September at
Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. The Conference will open at
1pm on the 15th, closing at approximately
4:30pm on the 16th.
The cost of a standard ticket is £300+VAT (which includes the food and drink costs of the Distinguished Fellows Dinner), with a special concessionary rate of £125+VAT for students, retirees and academics. Accommodation is also available at the college, provided at cost price of £90+VAT.
